Please Mum

Please Mum has never really been my favourite store, but I do love their winter jackets & snowpants and also their swimsuits with UV protection in them. Every year, I buy the next year's coat and pants when they go on sale. I do believe that my daughter is all set until she's 4 and my son is all set until he's 3! The Deep Winter Parka is made out of nicest material and the inside is nice and warm. I love them! They are normally about $70-$80, but I purchased them for $21 during their Boxing Day sale (online).

I received an email yesterday promoting their clearance. It is $4.99 and under for selected styles. Well, I went onto their website and there was hardly anything for $4.99 and pretty much nothing under that. Something else I noticed was that they still have summer items from LAST YEAR and they are still expensive!! I think it's time to start blowing those out really cheap!

One other thing I'd like to mention is that up until recently, they had FREE SHIPPING on anything you purchased online. I noticed yesterday when I was on their site that it's now free for orders $50 and over, otherwise it's a flat rate of $5. Not too bad, but the free shipping was one of the reasons I purchased from them.

Well it's been way too long since I last posted. Right around the time I stopped, I was planning my daughter's 1st birthday and I had to go back to work shortly after. So here I am, a year and a bit later...oh, and another baby later! My daughter is 2 and my son is 4 months old now. It's nice having another little person to shop for! I remember when I was about to find out the sex of the baby (while pregnant, of course!) and I was saying that either I was going to get to enjoy all the adorable clothes I used for my daughter OR I was going to have a reason to shop all over again for little blue clothes! Right after I found out I was having a boy, I headed straight for the mall and bought him a little blue sweater.

So, I have continued to shop online for great deals and I will continue to share them with everyone, and I'll also share any great deals I find in stores. Enjoy!!

Online Coupon Codes

I am so amazed at how much the Internet can be helpful in getting the BEST deal on things. Whenever I'm looking to purchase something online, I start off by doing a search for that item. I can usually find a couple stores that have it. Then I do a search for coupon codes for those particular stores and I can almost ALWAYS find a code. Then I work out the best deal, with shipping, deducting the discount, etc. and then I make my purchase!

I was looking at something on jcpenney.com and I searched for coupon codes. I found one for $10 off any purchase of $10 or more, I found one for 40% off regular priced items, and I could go on.

It just goes to show you how a little time (if you've got it) and research can save you money!
